1. VIRTUAL CIO SERVICE

This service is designed for any organisation; especially SME’s who need the services of experienced IT management.

What is the Service?

Given our tight economy and the prospect of a prolonged downturn, many SME’s are looking at innovative ways to implement change and “do that IT thing” much more cost effectively. Most IT management teams are fully engaged in current projects and “business as usual” and would appreciate any help they could get, especially a fresh “set of experienced hands” to work with them on a short-term basis to offer advice and suggestions on how to deliver value to their business.

We will provide the services of a CIO or Head of IT on an interim or ad hoc basis, either onsite at your office or on a virtual basis (phone, Skype, IM or Webinar). The service is ideal when:

You need an experienced person to step into the IT management role during periods of peak activity, absence or transition.
IT management needs temporary assistance to implement a change program,
You need an experienced person to act as a sounding board for your IT management on an ad hoc or a more structured basis

What the Service Includes

The service is intended to provide advice, get an opinion, help with a problem and even mentor the IT leadership. It is not intended necessarily for consulting-type work but the decision is yours. For example, an IT leader needs to be very proficient in the following core disciplines:

This is a subscription based service where you purchase an allotment of hours per month and then subscribe anywhere from 3 months to 12 months. Discounted pricing applies for periodsof 6 months or more.

2. INTERIM CIO / IT MANAGEMENT SERVICE

Our Interim IT Executive program (aka The Virtual CIO program) was developed in response to the growing needs of our clients who required short-term or ad hoc access to senior level IT management experience.

Our Principal Consultant, Steve Pitt, heads this program and our clients have used his experience and background:

· To provide an extra ‘set of experienced hands’ to assist the current IT management team;
· To step into the IT management role during periods of absence or transition; and
